NEWS
Winter Fundraiser
The Dawgs Project held a successful winter fundraiser to support our mission of helping military working dog handlers and veterans with PTSD. Thank you to all who contributed and made this event a success!
The Dawgs Project started as an idea to support our military working dog handlers and veterans with PTSD. With the help of our dedicated members and volunteers, we have been able to make that idea a reality and positively impact the lives of those who have served.
We are grateful for the support and recognition we have received for our work at The Dawgs Project. It inspires us to continue our mission and help more veterans in need.
New Program Launch
The Dawgs Project is embarking on an innovative journey with the launch of its latest program focused on educating high schoolers in caring for and training dogs to become service companions for veterans. This groundbreaking initiative not only nurtures empathy and responsibility in young hearts but also fosters a sense of purpose and service. By teaching children the intricacies of dog care and training, The Dawgs Project aims to instill essential life skills while simultaneously addressing the pressing need for service animals among veterans facing emotional challenges. Through this program, children learn compassion, teamwork, and the power of the human-animal bond, ultimately making a profound difference in the lives of both veterans and the dogs they nurture and train. The Dawgs Project continues to exemplify its commitment to creating positive change, one wagging tail and grateful heart at a time.
